Flying Time

Summer is here and how did that happen? Days are just flying by and it seems that sometimes I forget to come up for air. But there are walks and good times with friends and a new gathering place in town with good food and music, so I'm getting plenty of fun times to go with the work. No complaints here!
There has been some spinning.

And some beautiful blooms despite the wettest spring I can ever remember.

Chickens are growing like mad. I heard the first crow from a rooster this morning.
Somehow we managed to wind up with another dog here at Greenberry House. This is Knightley, an almost five months old Australian Shepherd. Both Emma and I adore him and he is a lot of fun!
Of course there is some work as well. A wonderful fiber friend is moving and I'm helping her with a major destash. There will be a HUGE fiber sale here at Greenberry House next month so keep an eye out here, and on our Facebook page, for details.

What I'm spinning: What? Spinning? You have got to be kidding!
What I'm knitting: Not much of that going on!
What I'm crocheting: Hibernating or lost!
What I'm reading: I can always read: Lucia, Lucia by Adriana Trigiani
Current sounds & sights for spinning along: Or for pricing yarn and fiber: Elizabeth and Her German Garden by Elizabeth von Arnim
How the diet is going: Ech.
